Maddie's Milestones!

She did it!! After realizing there were a lot of kids in the neighborhood that have their training wheels off, she was ready to try and her "Bumpa" was a great teacher!  These were taken in their backyard.

Bumpa was right beside her to get her started, with Lucy in tow.  Look at that determination!

She started with the real little bike first...

Then on to the big one!

I love how his arm is raised, like "Yes!"

Now on to the real thing, on pavement, another day...

The first tries on grass were with the bikes at Grandma and Bumpa's house.  This is Maddie's bike and she loves it!

"Tomorrow, Tomorrow, I love ya, tomorrow..."

Wow, I can't believe it's been a month since I've blogged!  Ever since school ended, I haven't felt like I've had the time to sit down and do some blog posts.  We've done so much and I want to capture it all, but time gets away from you!  Hopefully little by little I can do a few "what we've been up to" posts.  I especially need to document the end of Kindergarten for Maddie, and Tyler's last days as well.  We've really been up to a lot this past month, so hopefully I can add a few shots here and there.  But here's today's memorable moments:

Once again, there's a lot of singing going on around here, and this time it's Maddie!  She's doing a Music/Dance/Theatre camp this week with her favorite dance teacher Miss Sara.  They will be learning songs, choreography and making sets for a little performance of "Annie".  It couldn't be more perfect for little girls this age.

After camp today, Maddie stuck the CD in and sang "Tomorrow" over and over again for 2 hours!!  I thought her little voice would be getting hoarse, but that kid has a good set of lungs!!

(Wish I had it all on video, but it died the other day and needs to be charged.  Hopefully I can take some tomorrow!)
